Description

Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
Working with small groups of pupils or individual children to provide targeted support
Encouraging pupil engagement and participation in learning activities
Providing pastoral care and support to pupils, including managing behaviour and providing emotional support
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with special educational needs or disabilities
Communicating regularly with parents and carers to provide updates on pupils' progress

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications and experience working in a similar role
A passion for working with children and helping them to achieve their full potential
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
A patient and caring approach to supporting children's learning and development
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the classroom
