    Description

    Sous Chef Position

    We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef with the management of junior chefs and the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Head Chef in managing junior chefs
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of modern British, seasonal dishes
    • Ensure high-quality food is served to guests
    • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
    • Support the Head Chef in taking charge of the kitchen in their absence

    Requirements:

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a two AA Rosette accredited venue
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • The ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
    • All-round kitchen skills, including menu planning, stock control, and inventory management
