Play & Youth Service Team Lead

Cross site role
- based cross both the Chelsea and Westminster and the West Middlesex University Hospital sites.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Health Play Specialist to lead our Play & Youth Services Team.


The Play and Youth service are managed by our Therapies team therefore you will be supervised by Physiotherapists and work very closely with them throughout the role.

The team assist with leadership and guidance for you and there is regular supervision, coaching and mentorship.


The trust understands the importance of play input on the patient experience and supports the service to achieve high standards as recognised in the CQC report.


There is liaison with many external stakeholders particularly our hospital charities who provide equipment and toys as well as assist with Easter, summer and Christmas parties.

This is a cross site role and there is a hospital shuttle between our sites that runs at multiple times throughout the day if needed.


The clinical aspect of the role will enable you to work in a variety of paediatric areas including Children's Outpatients, HDU, Day Surgery, Ambulatory Care and specialised referrals where necessary.
