Quality Technician

Location:
Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary:
£21,000

Responsibilities for the Junior Quality Executive position includes, but is not limited to:

  • Maintaining data quality for the client's systems
  • Preparing materials for and attending the monthly quality review meetings
  • Identifying and preparing cases for continuous improvements to the business
  • Providing support to the line manager and the team as a whole to achieve excellent Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards across the business
  • Supporting client feedback processes, including the client surveys, client commendations and client complaints
  • Processing SHEQ audits to ensure that timely and accurate performance levels are met
  • Supporting the line manager in the creation and issuing of SHEQ reports to the various teams across the business
  • Assisting in the followups to any quality spills in the factory, including internal tracking, preventative measures and providing client feedback
  • Helping the teams meet both their external and internal PPM targets

Junior Quality Executive Skills and Experience:

  • Managing time effectively while working to tight deadlines
  • Basic IT skills, including usage of Microsoft and Google office products (Word, excel, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective at both team working and independently working
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Quality Management experience is beneficial but not required
  • Prior health and safety experience within a manufacturing environment (Advantageous)
