Description

Our client is a well-regarded international market leading within the Manufacturing and Engineering Industry.

Due to internal promotion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant to join the business based in Halesowen as Financial Accountant.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a key position taking responsibility for the below.

Responsibility for financial reporting and planning for the UK subsidiary
Production of monthly financial statements
Production of annual statutory financial statements and be designated point of contact for audit of the same
Annual budget and quarterly forecasting preparation
Analyse financial performance and recommend strategies for cutting costs
Balance sheet reconciliations
Gross margin analysis by income stream
Support other departments as Financial Business partner
Involved with various ongoing improvement projects.

Experience gained within Manufacturing, Engineering is desirable but not essential and those working within practice but seeking a move into industry will be considered.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to work closely and business partner with key stakeholders across the business.

A driving licence I also required for this position due to occasional travel to other sites based in the West Midlands.

A basic salary of up to £45,000 coupled with Bonuses and excellent benefits await., hybrid working can also be offered.
