Description

Based at Queens Hospital in Burton, we are appointing an F3 doctor to our Department of Medicine for the Elderly.

This will be a full-time, fixed-term service appointment for 1 year (from August 2023) with a possibility of extension. Applications for less than full-time working patterns are welcome.

The post holder will work 8 hours on duty Monday to Friday, rostered between 0900hrs and 1700hrs (option of available).

Rota to be confirmed upon appointment.

In addition, there are daily board rounds with the opportunity to discuss the management of the ward patients with a senior clinician.

The post holder will be attached to the Department of Medicine for the Elderly You will also have regular out-patient clinics with full consultant supervision.

You will be expected to work as middle-grade doctors, seeing speciality referrals and leading your junior team with full consultant support.


Numerous training opportunities are available in all teams and you will be actively encouraged to access these options throughout your post.
