About The Role
We are now looking
to further enhance our team by recruiting a Cover Supervisor who shares our commitment to inclusivity and
restorative practice. The post holder
will also have the tenacity, skills and flexibility to work in a
fast-moving environment and the passion to help our children to
progress and develop. We are willing to offer PE teaching experience as part of
this role.

have a strong academic record, including Maths and English GCSE Grade C or
above, well developed communication and organisational skills and good IT
skills with the ability to utilise the full range of Microsoft Word
supervision in the classroom in the absence of the teacher, thus ensuring that
pupils' learning can continue. The postholder will be expected to undertake a

wide range of duties including:

  • supervising students in the classroom;
supporting curricular areas in the development of resources and lesson plans;
liaising with colleagues across the school; supporting out of hours learning
and break time activities; maintaining good classroom behaviour management; and
monitoring student progress.

A flexible, responsive 'can
do' approach to team working and organisational needs is essential. The post
holder will also be a coach and fully involved in our Coaching programme and
House system, flexible learning and invigilation duties.

It
