Administration Assistant required 2 days per week (Wednesday & Friday).Undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties including: word processing, minute taking, filing and reception/telephone duties in order to support the work of the KingsWellies Nursery Management team and Office Manager
- Undertake a range of financial and accounting duties in order to support the work of the KingsWellies Nursery Management team in accordance with agreed financial procedures
- Management of customer invoices
- Credit card reconciliation
- Administer Payroll
- Update ICT information systems with information as required, in order to ensure an accurate record of all nursery financial data in accordance with existing policies and procedures
- Provide a nursery reception service, telephone and security duties
- Maintain a child records system in accordance with existing policies and procedures
- Maintain a staff records system in accordance with existing policies an procedures
- Carry out some financial duties; including process petty cash, accounts and invoices in accordance with agreed financial procedures, banking, ordering goods and services
- Develop knowledge and understanding in the use of KingsWellies Nursery management system software (Famly)
- Develop knowledge and understanding of financial income generated from parent fees
- Develop knowledge and understanding of financial income generated from a range of sources including 1140 free funded hours, employee childcare vouchers and Government childcare tax credits
- Develop knowledge and understanding of procurement priorities
- Have a proactive approach to continuous professional development and participate in individual, team and KingsWellies Nursery development
- Take responsibility for duties as delegated by the Nursery Director / Management team
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week
Salary:
£11.70 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Aberdeen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 5 years (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
