Description
Administration Assistant required 2 days per week (Wednesday & Friday).

Undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties including: word processing, minute taking, filing and reception/telephone duties in order to support the work of the KingsWellies Nursery Management team and Office Manager

  • Undertake a range of financial and accounting duties in order to support the work of the KingsWellies Nursery Management team in accordance with agreed financial procedures
  • Management of customer invoices
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Administer Payroll
  • Update ICT information systems with information as required, in order to ensure an accurate record of all nursery financial data in accordance with existing policies and procedures
  • Provide a nursery reception service, telephone and security duties
  • Maintain a child records system in accordance with existing policies and procedures
  • Maintain a staff records system in accordance with existing policies an procedures
  • Carry out some financial duties; including process petty cash, accounts and invoices in accordance with agreed financial procedures, banking, ordering goods and services
  • Develop knowledge and understanding in the use of KingsWellies Nursery management system software (Famly)
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of financial income generated from parent fees
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of financial income generated from a range of sources including 1140 free funded hours, employee childcare vouchers and Government childcare tax credits
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of procurement priorities
  • Have a proactive approach to continuous professional development and participate in individual, team and KingsWellies Nursery development
  • Take responsibility for duties as delegated by the Nursery Director / Management team

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 18 per week


Salary:
£11.70 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Aberdeen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 5 years (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
