Absolute Recruitment are looking for a Production warehouse operative to join one of their well-known clients based in Crewe.

This role is a permanent position and for someone who is looking for a long-term career within a company. Our clients prepare steel wire rope for the Crane & Elevator market.


Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Good communication skills

  • Problem solving abilities.
Ability to work on your own and within a team

Good mathematical skills

Ability to implement written and verbal instructions Desirable Skills & Qualifications


Desirable but not essential
Forklift licence

Use of disc grinders/cutters


Duties and Responsibilities
Working within a small production team with the support of the Production Manager, Supervisor, and fellow co-workers your duties include:

  • Spooling, measuring, and cutting to length of steel wire rope from the master reel as per customers requirement
  • Fitting of various end terminations to rope ends via different methods including the use of a hydraulic press and resinbased material
  • Duties and responsibilities
  • Working within a small production team with the support of the Production Manager, Supervisor, and fellow coworkers your duties include:

Supply of all relevant accessories - Labelling and packaging of all goods for safe and secure despatch

Note:

In addition to these functions' employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Hours of work - Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 4pm and 7:30 - 1pm on Fridays
