Production Operative

South Woodham Ferrers, Essex

Full time

8:00am to 5:00pm

Temporary to Permanent Position

Our Client is a fast growing supplier of clothing with a very quick supplier turn-a-round so the Production Operative who joins the team will be working in a fast paced environment.

Role:

With proper training and guidance, you will be joining a small, but powerful team, producing products to the highest quality standard.

There will also be an aspect of internal housekeeping to keep your work areas tidy and some heavy lifting for intermittent periods will be part of the job.

Key responsibilities:

Use various machines for cutting and producing products
Quality check of the items picked for the order.
Upkeep and basic servicing of machinery on site (training provided).
Stock take and inventory checks as requested.
Manning machines and loading product into machines for cutting.
General maintenance on machines as & when required.
Basic Housekeeping.

Experience required:
Experience within a machine operating or production/factory environment recent would be desirable.

Good Maths & English skills

Good timekeeping and time management skills

Able to work alone and meet job deadlines.

Use machines and cutting tools with training.

Punctual.

Positive and helpful attitude.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Salary:
£11.00 per hour
