Machine Operative -Based in Wisbech

The Company:

TRC are currently recruiting for a food manufacturing company based in the Wisbech area. My client are interested in hard working individuals who are keen to work within a fast-paced environment.

The company take pride in all products that they supply forthousands of customers across the UK, so you will be expected to have a keen eye for detail whilst working in the company.

The Role:

Operates the carton machine
Loads machine cartridge with flat pack cartons
Adjust the machine settings to customer specified carton dimensions
Conduct basic maintenance of the carton machine and maintains the cleanliness of own working area
Complete a thorough handover at the end of each shift to counterpart on following shift.
Ensures own work is compliant with relevant health and safety, environmental and GMP practice
Maintain centre lining of equipment and report and deviations
Escalate any issues affecting performance of area in a timely manner to supervisor or manager
BBS (Behavioural Based Safety) responsible for your own safety and for those around you
Carry out sanitation duties as required, including shutdown
Remain at your work station until relieved at shift handover
Carry out "on the job" guidance, training, support for colleagues as required
Report and escalate production issues with a supervisor or manager in a timely manner
Any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor/manager
Can operate PPPT

Shifts & Pay:

Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00
- £10.50 rising to £11.40 after successful probation

OT available, paid at time and a half
You must have a good attitude towards work and are always looking to learn and develop.
Flexibility to work on a variety of different sections within the department when required
Key eye for detail
Must be computer literate
Quality inspecting as you work.
