Description
Staff-finders are currently recruiting for a leading food factory in Hull.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- pack products into containers.
- check products on the production line for quality.
- keep machines supplied with packaging materials and labels.
- report machine faults.
- adjust machine settings.
- move goods to storage areas.

  • Keep packaging and consumable stock levels to their target optimum level,
  • Manage inventory levels of packaging,
  • Manage packaging forecast and order accordingly from suppliers in line with lead times,
  • Ensure constant availability of materials to meet the production plan,
  • Liaise with other departments on any quality issues,
  • Manage packaging trials within the factory and also externally,
  • Carry out regular Mass Balance on packaging items,
  • Maintain Packaging Specification library and ensure compliance with audits,
  • Record and maintain database for Packaging Waste Regulations,
  • Drive improvement in all aspects of the packaging process,
  • Maintain a safe environment for all staff.
  • IDEAL CANDIDATE HAVE:
  • Proven work experience as a Packaging Controller, QA, QC
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities,
  • Excellent attention to details and have a high level of accuracy
Shift 4on/ 4off days
