Job Summary

What is the opportunity?
You will be the Content/Copywriter for the Marketing Delivery team within Wealth Management Europe.


The Marketing Delivery Team is responsible for producing campaign and BAU marketing assets, including content, print design, video, website and digital assets for all marketing in WME.


What will you do?


The Content Team plays an integral part in this task creating the narrative used across touchpoints, including on the website, in sales collateral, thought leadership pieces and client magazines.


This role is focused on the generation of marketing collateral and other written materials used to support client acquisition and client management.

The role holder will be expected to deputise for the head of content.

This position requires a knowledge of wealth matters and a strong interest in business.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • To lead on the creation and drafting of all client literature across both private client and business channels. You will work with the design team and be expected to lead on flat plans and layouts.
  • Produce creative and compelling materials that address prospects' needs and creatively showcase the benefits of selecting us a provider.
  • To draft clientfacing communications throughout the acquisition and client lifecycle. This will include drafting communications and letters so that clients understand in straightforward terms the impacts of changes in regulation or the terms of our relationship.
  • You will work with stakeholders including Legal, Compliance and Information Security, ensuring their needs are accommodated while any communications remain clear and readily understandable.
  • Prepare wellstructured content to work with the workflows of the Marketo marketing automation system.
  • Ensure copy is consistent to our brand and written style guide.
  • Update website content as needed.
  • Working under the guidance of the marketing managers, create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers. Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site.
  • Develop and sustain your technical knowledge of regulatory, financial planning and investment matters.
  • Accountable for ensuring all work receives compliance approvals, and for producing and completing a support file of fact and proofs to ensure compliance with COBS.
  • Review and edit copy from other members of the content team and the wider marketing team as required.
  • Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics. Actively contribute to the generation of content ideas.
  • Analyse metrics to understand the success of content pieces, and use that analysis to inform discussion about future content strategy.
  • Manage content team's workflow.
  • Support the head of content in the development of the annual content plan.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Extensive content writing/copywriting experience.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and able to work independently and manage your own workload to meet deadlines
  • High standard of written and spoken English with good numerical skills
  • Selfsufficient and able to work on own initiative
  • Budget Management
  • Meticulous attention to detail, taking pride in high quality output
  • Able to multitask when needed and respond to revised priority setting
  • Able to take initiative and suggest solutions
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Experience of working in a demanding environment
  • Experience of managing deadlines and changing priorities
  • Create core processes and manuals and ensure they are current and up to date at all times.

Nice-to-have

  • Ideally hold a bachelor's degree and/or marketing qualification or similar.
  • Strong writing portfolio and relevant work experience.
