As part of Mondelēz International People Services, y ou and your team will define and carry out the Data Privacy agenda for the European HR Business.


In this role, you will oversee D ata P rotection activities and ensure the effective use of enabling technology, including case management tools.

In addition, you will plan for and make sure that daily activities are completed, and implement and monitor quality standards for your team, including reviewing and adjusting key performance indicators and service level agreements to drive continuous improvement.

You will also monitor, analyze and improve team performance to improve customer satisfaction.

As a people leader, you will coach, motivate, train, and inspire direct reports, provide guidance and direction to your team to ensure they are providing excellent responses to queries and requests, and manage individual performance.


Reporting into the Employee Relations Lead, t he GDPR Team Lead will l ead a team of GDPR Advisors and assist in the development, co-ordination and delivery of D ata P rivacy activit ies across MEU.


Working within the People Services Team, this role will support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and the Data Privacy Lead to deliver and monitor the employee D ata P rotection strategy and support the HR teams in maintaining D ata P rivacy best practice.


The role requires a deep knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation but also require s a willingness for continued learning and understanding of European P rivacy regulation to support the business with P rivacy initiatives.

The role requires team management, active collaboration, analysis and reporting across MEU People Services.

**Responsibilities will include: - Supporting the DPO and Data Privacy Lead with the delivery of D ata P rivacy initiatives

  • Supporting and promoting compliance with D ata P rivacy legislation and best practice
  • Identifying areas for improvement regarding data processing activities within HR processes and proposing steps to address gaps, helping define and deliver agreed next steps and solutions
  • Managing and reporting metrics to senior management on a regular basis
  • Managing a Team of GDPR Advisors by providing guidance, direction, and training to enable individuals to coordinate requests indep endently to an excellent quality standard
  • Manag ing the performance of the GDPR Team by conducting regular checks and coaching individuals when required
  • Supporting the GDPR Team to r espond to D ata P rivacy queries from the busines s
  • Supporting the GDPR Team to c oordi nate responses on all Data Subject Rights requests to meet statutory deadlines
  • Monitoring, recording and analysing D ata P rotection incidents by investigat ing, manag ing and report ing breaches when required
  • Supporting the business with the completion of Data Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Supporting the People Services training and awareness program by design ing, deliver ing, and updating training materials
  • Supporting the DPO to address complaints that are registered with the various European Data Protection Authorities
  • Assisting the HR teams on D ata P rivacy responses
  • Continuous learning and updating of knowledge on latest developments on the GDPR
  • Supporting the DPO and Data Privacy Lead with annual audit reviews

Experience required:


Education/Qualifications

  • Desirable privacy related qualification/ certification i.e. CIPP/E or CIPP/M
  • Desirable experience using data privacy management software
  • Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role or demonstration of knowledge of Data P rivacy regulations
