A 2nd line support engineer is required by an award-winning digital media client based in central London.

The company are looking for an all-rounder with ideally some infrastructure engineering experience and wants to move further into a role that allowsthem to build upon that.

Any experience working within a creative/media or similar environment would be highly desirable.

This business is big on learning and development and are looking for someone who is keen to develop their skillset and enjoys getting involved in lots of different areas.

Responsibilities / Skills

Support of company infrastructure be it deskside or remote
Demonstrable technical skills and initiative along with the ability to communicate with all areas of the business. Selfstarter who can adapt to changing requirements and production issues.
Infrastructure support such as networking, firewalls, servers, security etc
Experience across MAC, Linux and ideally Windows
Create and maintain support documentation as required
Any experience with JAMF desirable
Process and service improvement
Any scripting experience desirable such as PowerShell, Python and bash
Desktop based support experience
Experience within areas such as Active Directory, Windows Server, DHCP, DNS etc
Virtualisation skills (VMware ESXi, vSphere, vMotion)
Good understanding of TCP/IP
Any experience within Identity Management a plus
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Strong academic background desirable
