Maintenance Engineer

£40,000 + Benefits

Burntwood, Staffordshire

Role Profile
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and installation of machinery, equipment and facilities.

You will be expected to troubleshoot problems, inspect and evaluate the condition of machines and equipment, and conductregular maintenance activities.

You must be able to identify and repair any mechanical and some electrical systems. You will also be required to test installations and systems for safety, accuracy and quality.

Further duties include ensuring that all safety regulations are followed, and thatall repair and maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for liaising with suppliers and contractors, and ordering spare parts as needed.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing production environment
  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problemsolving
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • A valid driving license
