Business Modeller/Data Analyst

£41,361+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Developing business models for a programme that has a significant degree of uncertainty and complexity
- Generating analysis, scenarios and insight to enable informed decision making by senior management
- Utilising toolsets (e.g. Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx) that are new to BAE but offer significant advantage over the traditional methods of cost and business analysis
- Acting as a point of integration for the business by drawing data and information from multiple sources and across the functions
- Communicating analysis, model outputs and visualisations to the management team including senior leaders
- Engaging with individuals from our partner companies in support of the international campaign and its goal of establishing a joint strategic modelling framework
- Identifying, developing and delivering innovative modelling solutions for a programme that encourages the need to "do things differently" in order to be successful
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Industry experience in a Commercial, IT, Software or Financial job roles
- Toolset experience or qualifications for Power BI and Alteryx or equivalent
- Experience of analysis, cost estimating, cost or price modelling
Desirable:
- Degree educated and/or equivalent

The Data Analytics team:
The Data Analytics team support the FCAS goal of identifying "programme value" based on data and analysis by developing and delivering strategic business models as an enabler to management decision making.
The team integrate data and information regarding FCAS solution estimates, commercial frameworks, partnering constructs and investment options and generate analytical outputs in support of the campaign to develop an international FCAS programme and in support of BAE competitive advantage objectives.
