Accounts Assistant required to join to busy company based in Arbroath.


The Accounts Assistance will be tasked with sales and purchases invoicing, bank reconciliation and general accounts administration include intercompany transactions.


Accounts Assistant position overview:

  • Processing and send sale invoices
  • Processing purchase invoices included payments
  • Maintenance of sales and purchase ledger
  • Various Reconciliations incl. bank, supplier and sales
  • Vat submission
  • Process monthly payroll & Pension
  • Process weekly Petty Cash
  • Banking
  • Preparing and entering journals into the system
  • Maintaining the fixed Asset Register
  • General cover and support of all colleagues, when required
  • Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filling, printing and scanning
  • Any other duties as required
Accounts Assistant position requirements;

  • Sage Accounts &Payroll experience (min 2 years)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Strong eye for details and high levels of accuracy
  • Polite telephone manner
The position is part-time, working Wednesday - Friday from 9am-17pm.

A competitive salary is offered, commensurate with experience, together with contributory pension and 17 days paid holiday included Bank holidays


Job Types:

Salary:
£11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week


Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

- purchase ledger: 2 years (preferred)
Accounts Payable: 2 years (preferred)
