Project Support Officer - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Location:
Hybrid working (1-2 days to per week in Bristol and remaining WFH)

The main duties and responsibilities of the Project Support Officer would be to:
  • Support the Learning and Apprenticeships Manager and DIT Profession Leads with building and deploying a portfolio of learning and development workstreams to attract, develop and retain talent.
  • Assist workforce planning workstreams build and delivery the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality.
  • Schedule and manage resources to achieve workforce projects, working independently as well as within a small team.
  • Identify and work with key stakeholders, developing effective relationships, understanding the RACI of workstreams.
  • Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Assist in mitigation actions and escalate as appropriate.
  • Provide reports that support effective governance and decision making.
  • Ensure effective suit of documentation is available to support project principles and process flows to enable continuation and maintenance of workstream going forward and into BAU.

You'll have:


  • Project Support Experience
  • Project Management Qualification
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good technical understanding
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex project setting

It would be great if you also had:

  • Learning and development experience
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) qualification
  • Recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent
  • Previous public sector experience
  • Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
