We're Pollen - an equal opportunities careers community for young people - and we're proud to be working with an amazing people-first employer, Carers UK.

About Carers UK:

Carers UK is the leading national charity for unpaid carers.

Their support, advice, information and campaigning work are now needed more than ever, as unpaid carers are providing more and more care, adversely impacting on their own health and wellbeing.

Carers UK exist to make life better for carers and bring about lasting change.

They are now looking for a passionate, organised and personable individual who will support Carers UK's Income Generation team to achieve their voluntary income target through administration, prospect research and coordination of the legacy and individual giving income streams.

About the Role:

This is a diverse role providing opportunities to develop skills across several fundraising disciplines.

You will be joining the organisation at an incredibly exciting time, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in fundraising within an organisation that has ambitious development plans.

As part of this, you will be:

  • Providing administrative support to the Philanthropy and Fundraising team, including monitoring income targets, coordinating travel, and supporting with events or projects as needed.
  • Working with the finance team to manage incoming correspondence as well as monitoring expenditure and budgets, working with spreadsheets and processing invoices.
  • Maintaining the Fundraising information hub, ensuring up to date and relevant information is readily available for use by the wider Income Generation team.
  • Collating organisational statistics, reports, price points, project plans, and performance indicators.
  • Creating a fundraising data dashboard providing Fundraising colleagues with up to date performance indicators for Carers UK for use in proposals and reports.

You will love this job if you:

  • Are super methodical, organised and aren't scared of a spreadsheet
  • Feel really passionate about the values, cause, and mission of Carers UK.
  • Love the feeling of completing tasks and can confidently prioritise and multitask to get stuff done efficiently.
  • Pride yourself in your excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Whether you have recently left education, feel overqualified for your current job, or are seeking a complete career change, we welcome all applicants regardless of experience or academic background.

If you are excited about being part of an ambitious, people-first business, then this job could be a great fit for you.
