Travel Support Executive
This dynamic travel business is looking for a Travel Support Executive to join their small friendly team.

This important role is to support travel agents using their in-house booking system and to provide booking and operational support.

Salary up to circa £25k, hybrid working available and part time also considered.


Travel Support Executive - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manually making bookings as required
  • Assisting members with checking for additional information and / or adding extras to bookings such as baggage & special requests etc.
  • Deal with all group travel bookings.
  • Ensure all schedule changes are communicated to members.
  • Complete weekly payment discrepancies and report to management.
  • Log all cancelled bookings
  • Responsibility for pre, in resort and post travel complaint handling.
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved to line manager.

Travel Support Executive - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Retail Travel or Tour Operator experience with strong destination knowledge
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to provide a professional customer focused service at all times.
  • Efficient, organised and diligent with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Strong IT skills with experience of ISELL or other travel booking systems being an advantage.
  • Proactive with the ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Flexible approach with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Travel Support Executive - Additional Information:

  • Salary circa £23k to £25k
  • Working hours Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 & every other Saturday (with a day off in the week)
  • Company benefits include pension, healthcare etc.
  • Part time considered, minimum of 3 full days
