Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you want to have a positive impact on the academic lives of children?

ORTUS RECRUITMENT are looking for an experienced and dedicated
Learning Support Assistant to support a child with ASD on a 1:1 basis. You will be responsible for helping them to understand and complete their school work, as well as providing emotional and behavioural support. You will need to be patient, empathetic and an excellent communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and their families.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to progress within a school setting and gain invaluable experience working alongside a motivating Senior Leadership Team, with the potential to become permanent and/or go on to do Teacher Training in partnership with the school.

A dynamic and motivating approach to teaching
Good understanding of SEN
The ability to work in a team
Excellent time management and attendance
Experience working with SEN children
Experience working in a classroom setting
Minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
