Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you could be working with children across the school.
We work with schools across all age groups:
primary, secondary, and post-16. We can help you find the classroom that suits your needs best.
You will be working with children both across the classroom setting supporting the class teacher, as well as on a one-to-one basis with learners that may need additional support.
Individuals who are hardworking, energetic, and passionate about working with children, and who can ideally bring something unique to the classroom environment, is who we are on the lookout for You will support the pupils, parents, teachers, and the school to establish a nurturing learning environment in which each child can make expeditious academic improvements and form habits of excellence.
This role is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to gain school experience before progressing into teaching.
The schools have supported Teaching Assistants in the past to gain experience alongside their qualifications, and they are now valued teachers in the area.

What you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or overseas equivalent.
- Relevant SEN training or additional qualifications are desirable, but
not essential
- Childcare experience within a school, tutoring and/or sports coaching an advantage.
- Availability fulltime; Monday to Friday; 08:30am 15:30pm (Termtime only)
- Previous experience working in a school setting is an advantage, but
not essential.
