About the Role

We are looking for an outstanding UK & Ireland Localisation Specialist.

In this role, the individual will work with the UK & Ireland and international teams to improve and continue developing and localising the UK & IE sites, software and apps.

This role will be offered on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for a minimum of 12 months.

What You'll Do- Product Localisation & QA: Translate new UI strings from US software into UK and Irish English. Review and test the software and app to ensure proper functionality and a good user experience for the culture and UK and Irish English language. Website Information Architecture: Ensure that the UK and IE site navigation makes sense and that topics are correctly organised.- Collaborate with other teams (including product, product marketing, SEO & SEM, branding & marketing, as well as sales & support teams) to provide localised product and content.

At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have- At least 1 year's experience in product localisation and/or QA for UK/IE English- Fast learner, detail-oriented and organised person who is able to work both independently and in collaboration with a global team- Deep understanding of the site-specific culture and its specificities to produce high-quality localisation and aid in product research and development- A good technical understanding of CMS platforms, CAT and project management tools- Strong written and verbal communication and writing skills- Fluency in English required

Ideally, You'll Also Have- Degree in a relevant field preferred, for example, digital marketing or communication- Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet functionalities- Knowledge of home design and renovation industry- Knowledge of another language a bonus (French, Spanish, Italian, German or Japanese)
