Description

Our client, an Engineering company based in the Bristol area, is looking for an experienced, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative to be trained as a Machinist.


This is a workshop based position that will require you to produce parts using manual machines such as manual lathes and manual millers to produce parts that will replace worn or damaged parts of electric motors, full training will be provided.

This is a day shift position, 39 hours per week.

Overtime is paid x1.5 and x2 on Sundays.

Also a good holiday package and pension scheme are included.


This is a permanent position with a temporary trial and the hourly rate is £11.83 rising higher once you are fullt trained.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bristol BS16 6NY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
