We are looking for a General Manager who will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the company, including generating revenue across all three income streams, people management and cost control.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daytoday business operations to ensure the business is running smoothly across FOH, treatments, contractors, stock, inventory, ecommerce and training
  • Manage employees and contractors, including hiring new staff when needed and carrying out appraisals and target management
  • Set policies and processes
  • Financial control including working alongside bookkeeper to reconcile all monthly accounts and work towards wider budget and quarterly revenue targets
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure company is fully compliant and uptodate with all policies

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a strategic and continuous improvement approach to operations management
  • Be skilled at managing employees, inspiring a team, maintaining morale and procuring personal growth amongst individuals
  • Be able to effectively delegate where appropriate to maximise efficiency
  • Possess budgeting, planning and strategy skills
  • Have both an eye for detail and see how this fits into the 'bigger picture' which they will continually drive forward
  • Have experience in financial control
  • Have strong communication skills and adopt a commercial approach to tackling operational challenges
  • Be able to multitask and work in an often highpressured environment
  • Have excellent organisational skills and initiative
This role is 4 days office based, and 1 day a week working from home
