Doubletake is the innovation team for Frasers Group, we work with a number of well-established brands ranging from activewear to high fashion.

Doubletake Innovation also take part in collaborations with outside brands and influencers (most recently Zara, Free People, MJB for Selfridges) therefore along with the day-to-day tech duties, this role will lead new exiting opportunities and chances to elevate your skills


Job Description:


  • Attend weekly fit sessions across both men's and womenswear.
  • Independently lead the fit session for own brands / categories and work closely with design / buying to ensure excellent and consistent fit of product together with the best construction methods.
  • Record all fit comments and relay to the factories ensuring amendments are accurately reflected in future samples or production.
  • Define and maintain grading / sizing rules for each garment type and for each individual brand.
  • Help techs to create a block library for each brand, ensure this is updated each season
  • Support the factories & buying team on any construction queries.
  • Ensure all garments are sealed ahead of the factories starting production.
  • Assess & fit all preproduction, top of production and shipment samples.
  • Report on quality, faults and production each season detailing each factory performance against target. Feedback to management and wider team returns figures on a monthly basis.
  • Establish and maintain the new testing process clothing and soft accessories.
  • Run wearer trial process for the company and feedback to senior team
  • Help to establish new innovation technologies for the company e.g. 3D fitting, in house bra support innovation

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Fitting experience
  • Experience working in a retail / similar industry
  • A high level of selfmotivation, commitment, and dedication
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Communication skills, both written and oral.
