M&A Project Accountant - interim

Based:
Manchester area (hybrid & flexible working, 1-2 days a week in the office)

Day rate:
Circa £ day rate outside IR months with possible extension

Our client is a UK leading, rapidly expanding PE backed services business.

Owned by a larger group, they have plans to double business turnover in the next 3 years through organic growth and acquisitions.

This role will report directly to the Head of FinancialControl and be involved with due diligence for a number of M&A deals currently in process.


Role:

  • Assisting with due diligence activity across multiple potential acquisitions
  • Drilling into the detail and utilising data sets to provide information and reports
  • Producing reports for consolidated balance sheet position
  • Advising on how to structure the deal, complications that may arise and how to avoid, working with senior management to advise on next steps based on the information
  • Management of financial statements, consolidated accounts and financial reporting
  • IFRS accounting rules utilising

Experience:


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and available to start immediately
  • Strong experience with due diligence for acquisitions
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, IFRS and large data sets
  • Experience working in a complex, everchanging group desired
