Reed is delighted to be supporting a well-respected member of Edinburgh's hospitality scene in an exciting new chapter for the organisations finance team.

My client is the proprietor of many of Edinburgh's well-known bars, restaurants and clubs.

This rolewould be based in the company's office in central Edinburgh and when confident in your duties would open up a flexible working arrangement.


My client is currently searching for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist in the processing purchasing invoices, reconciling company bank accounts and processing payment runs.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience processing ahigh volume of invoices and work to tight deadlines.


The organisation prides themselves on their informal working environment and giving their employees full autonomy when it comes to managing your workload.

The role will provide you the opportunity to engage with key stakeholders across Edinburgh's hospitalitysector and help build your interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Processing a high volume of purchasing invoices
  • Reconciling multiple company bank accounts
  • Processing payments runs
  • Supporting senior bookkeeper with duties when required
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sage experience _desirable_
  • Strong interpersonal skills
