£9,753 per year (FTE £22,859), pension scheme, 25 days annual leave

About Somerset MNVP
Somerset Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) exists to work towards ensuring that maternity and neonatal care is safe, kind, compassionate and person centered.
We work alongside maternity and neonatal managers and staff to bring service user voice into the design and development of services.
Keeping people at the heart of all we do ensures care provided truly meets the needs of our whole community.
Somerset MNVP is hosted by a community interest company called Evolving Communitieswhich specialises in delivering high quality local engagement delivery and support.
The role
Somerset MNVP is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Engagement Officer to join our team to support us with our community engagement work, including recruiting and supporting volunteers and helping with social media.
You will work on engagement projects in the community, with charities and with volunteers to gather feedback, information and understand barriers to access.
You will also work closely with the Somerset MNVP Lead to discuss the feedback and progress on the engagement work and support them to share this at system meetings.
Who we are looking for
You may have lived experience of using maternity and neonatal services, although this is not essential, you will be friendly and approachable, with great communication skills.
You will have experience of engaging with and listening to a diverse range of people and have an excellent understanding of equity, equality, and inclusion.
