Would you like to make a difference to lives by providing essential training and support to VCS organisations across Peterborough?

PCVS is the umbrella organisation to 350+ voluntary and community sector groups across Peterborough.

We aim to provide excellence in infrastructure support to organisations across Peterborough who are meeting local need and supporting communities.

We have a hugely diverse membership covering many different areas e.g. gender, ethnicity, disability

The postholder will help our local organisations by delivering a range of support via training, group coaching sessions and one to one support.

The role will include devising and delivering training to meet need and developing a clear understanding of local groups needs and providing appropriate support to enable our groups to thrive.

This could include for example:
working with groups around delivering their own training, meeting safeguarding needs, guidance on developing policies.

There will also be a focus on the new Integrated Care System and how members can engage to deliver work to tackle health inequalities locally.

This post will also be responsible for setting up new groups and giving guidance on different structures available as well as support with business planning.

It is expected that the role will also coordinate other funded provision that may be available to the sector as well as seeking funds to meet identified training needs.
