    Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Developer

    We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team as we deliver innovative and high-profile high-rise projects in Manchester.

    Role Overview

    This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute to the delivery of high-rise development projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
    • Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations.
    • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
    • Monitor project costs and report on cost control, ensuring projects are kept within budget.
    • Identify and manage risks, variations, and changes to the scope of work.
    • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
    • Provide support and advice to senior management and project teams.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the high-rise or construction sector.
    • Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
    • Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is desirable).
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
