The Assistant Psychological Therapy Practitioner will provide 1:1 guided self-help and deliver wellbeing and therapeutic interventions online and face to face.

This role includes assessments of referrals and updating spreadsheets and producing reports for the wider service.

There is an element of psychoeducation via the production of newsletters and elements of advertising our workshops through our networks and channels.

The Employee Wellbeing Team sits within the larger People Health and Wellbeing Service. The Employee Wellbeing Team is made up of Counsellors, a Clinic Co-Ordinator, Wellbeing Practitioner and a Lead Counsellor. We work together to offer mental health and wellbeing support to staff within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.


Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will offer a range of low-intensity, CBT-based interventions which will help employees manage their mental health.

Working with individuals and groups, you will be IT literate and have an interest in delivering wellbeing and therapeutic interventions in innovative ways.

Currently, we offer Guided Self Help and Wellbeing Workshops.

A part-time position is available.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
