Position Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the daily care of patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Support healthcare professionals in administering treatments and medications as directed.
  • Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing or medical staff.
  • Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the comfort of patients.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.

£10.50-£11.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)
  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
