As we continue to grow, we are excited to add an Import Coordinator to our busy logistics team, on a fixed term contract.

OVERVIEW:

As Import Coordinator, you will be part of the team responsible for overseeing the movement of product from our global manufacturing facilities through to successful delivery at our warehouses in the UK and Europe.

No two days in operations are the same You will be collaborating daily with the SharkNinja teams, freight forwarders, warehouse teams and ocean freight carriers.

Previous supply chain experience is preferable, however a high level of attention to detail and being a team player are equally important.

Strong Excel skills and the willingness to learn are also important.

We work flexibly and anticipate a mix of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home but this may change if business needs alter.

Responsibilities:

Work with our freight forwarders and carriers to ensure we have shipping space for all our requirements
Work with origin teams and booking agents, and give direction on booking priorities
Provide clearance instructions and documentation to our freight forwarders for customs clearance
Audit third party invoices and raise PO's on our system
Arrange adhoc air freight shipments, obtaining best value rates and following through to delivery
Arrange adhoc courier shipments, ensuring all clearance instructions are provided
Accurately input data into our ERP system, manually and via upload
Manage data in Cargosmart, chase parties to populate missing data and documentation
Report delivery damages back to origin and follow through to resolution
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Escalate key issues to leadership proactively and in a timely manner
Produce and maintain end to end SOPs and process maps
Evaluate processes and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

Previous admin experience is essential, ideally working with imports/exports or in supply chain
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload accordingly
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent record keeping
Problem-solving mindset
A willingness to learn and adjust with the ever-changing demands of a fast-moving business environment
Drive, ambition and enthusiasm to deliver results and progress within the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English
High level of proficiency with Microsoft suite, including Excel
Experience of working with ERP systems, ideally with Oracle
