Description

Our client, who specialise in Logistics solutions and have offices in every continent, are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for their team based near Birmingham.

The successful Business Development Manager will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within the Freight Forwarding industry, as well as previous Business Development experience and good software knowledge especially with MS offices/365.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be working alongside the Procurement Team, developing quotes and proposals for potential clients. You will be establishing relationships with customers, providing active and proactive information to the client as needed

Other duties of the Business Development Manager:

Identifying new target customers within defined parameters
Chasing new leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Creating goals for the business development team
Researching potential accounts in target markets
Setting goals and developing plans for business growth
Represent the Company to a high standard
