Purpose

Responsible to
The Director of Development for all day-to-day activities and duties.


General Accountabilities

  • Understand the current company objectives and sales and marketing strategy, analyse and then plan new objectives and strategies with the board of directors.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate opportunities and develop an effective sales process.
  • Repositioning the Company by updating the brand and products to reach new audiences.
  • Contact potential customers, inform them of Company products and services, and solicit new business.
  • Take the lead in selling the Company's products and services.
  • Promote all facilities internally to Rolls-Royce plc and externally to current and future customers.
  • Keep tight control of sales statistics.
  • Maintain and expand the customer feedback database.
  • Develop and regularly review sales and marketing budgets.
  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences organised by the Company.
  • Creating marketing campaigns on social media platforms, developing, and designing marketing materials for web and print.
  • Writing monthly reports on the performance of the campaigns.

  • Derby Leisure & Events Staff, i.e. Office, Pavilion, Fitness and Site Services.
  • Conference Bookers, Employees and Managers of Rolls-Royce plc.
  • Event bookers & their Guests.
  • External conference bookers.
  • Suppliers.
  • Visitors & Customers

Key Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Knowledge & experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the Hospitality industry, however, this is not essential.
  • Customer focus providing high levels of customer service.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • A resultdriven and organised individual.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Integrity

Requirements:


  • Qualification & experience in Marketing/Sales.
  • Good negotiating and sales skills.
  • Marketing software experience/knowledge.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Competent and proficient with various Social Media platforms
