Andas Homes are looking for an experienced site foreman to join their team and lead an exciting build / renovation project in North Leeds.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage construction project from start to finish
  • Coordinate and schedule work activities with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and other technical documents
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
  • Monitor project progress and quality control to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and direction to construction workers on site
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, plans reading, and quality control
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time, resources, and personnel
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Salary:
£18.00-£25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Leeds: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Joinery: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
