About the role This is a fantastic opportunity to join UCL's Information Services Division (ISD) as a Linux Application and Systems Manager within Faculty IT & Partnering (FITP) supporting our Medical Sciences faculty. The purpose of thispost is to provide technical leadership to the group through leading on high-priority and complex work delivering maximum value to teaching and research.

Your responsibilities will involve the following:

Providing creative input, you will be responsible for the implementation of IT solutions and the leadership of project's technical implementation team, including any detailed design activities
Capitalise on internal ISD offerings and externally provided platforms where possible, while supporting bespoke services where necessary to deliver benefits to Medical Sciences.
Act as the escalation point for the Faculty IT Support and Applications & Systems Specialists.
Provide cover for the IT Service Manager by attending meetings and acting as the escalation point when required.
