The Role
The Public Engagement team are seeking a Public Engagement Officer to manage and deliver operational aspects of the School of Advanced Study's public engagement programme.
The role will have primary focus on Being Human Festival, whilst supporting public engagement and knowledge exchange activities across the School of Advanced Study.
The post-holder will work closely with the Public Engagement and Festival Manager, Public Engagement Officer and the Chair of Public Understanding of the Humanities, and will work with researchers across the UK who are taking part in Being Human Festival.
The post-holder will lead specific work programmes relating to aspects of the SAS public engagement strategy, and develop and deliver public engagement activities and training.
The post-holder will be required to work proactively and collaboratively, developing and showcasing best practice within SAS public engagement and Being Human Festival.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office.
Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
