Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to work well alone and as a team.


Duties:

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Update care plans based on individual resident needs
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the Senior staff
• Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed

Skills:

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable but not essential.
• Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately
• Fluency in English to communicate effectively with residents and staff
