Accountant/Service Charge Accountant

Our client is a medium sized independent firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit an accountant/service charge accountant to add to their existing team.

You would work within their Residential Property Services department dealing with thepreparation of Service Charge accounts.

Not necessarily qualified, you should have at least 2 years relevant experience in accounting and within the residential property management industry.

This is an exciting role for a professional with some experience who is looking to develop and grow withthe organisation.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and completion of accounts, tax computations, reports and audit under supervision within the Service Charge and Accounts Departments
Adhering to the departmental policies and procedures
Attending department meetings client complete accounts assignments including completing and signing off all sections for manager
Liaising with agents and client staff to complete assignments and clear queries
Completing all work assigned within budget to the required quality with mínimal unresolved queries
Preparing service charge accounts in line with the latest guidance and specific to each agent / client requirements
Preparing fully compliant associated company accounts
Full completion of workings file, preparation of draft accounts and letter of representation
Communicating clearly in both written and verbal channels
