Description
Small family run construction company based in Halstead recruiting for a part time Accounts Assistant to join their team.


Working hours required are:
2 full days a week 9am-5pm OR

3 school hour days a week 9.30am - 2.30pm

For either option, one of the working days must be a Friday.

The role is paying £12-15 per hour depending on experience.


Key duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Entering sales and purchase invoices on to Sage
  • Entering purchase invoices to job costing spreadsheets
  • Matching up credit card receipts to statements and entering on to Sage
  • Reconciling supplier accounts to statements and preparing supplier payments

Additionally, depending on experience:

  • Preparing fortnightly subcontractor payments
  • Preparing CIS returns

Skills and experience required are:


  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Experience within the construction industry preferred
  • Good working knowledge of CIS desirable

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
