Andover and East Wiltshire as a Live In Care Assistants.

As a Live In Carer, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

Job Description:

We are currently searching for a Live-in Care Assistant to care for a gentleman living in Marlborough with his wife.

He is in his nineties and is very hard of hearing so clear communication is key in this placement. He needs encouragement to do day to day activities including; drinking, washing and dressing, cooking and cleaning. Occasional continence care. He has limited mobility but is able to transfer using standing aids.

We are looking for someone happy to work 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off, in rotation with one other live in carer, in this placement.

Qualifications:

Ideally on the DBS update service for a quick start

Very good communicator essential

Previous live-in care experience over a year is desirable

Preferably a car driver but not essential

Additional Information

As a Live In Care Assistant, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.

In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.

£125 a day plus £35 a week food allowance working out apporximately £900 a week.
