The Plumbing /Fabric Engineer will provide a variety of building services engineering maintenance tasks to a variety of client properties throughout the designated region. This will include plumbing, carpentry and fabric related repairs, maintenance and installation.
**The emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
******:

Responsibility for Plumbing/ Fabric related PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded

Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include exterior works, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry related tasks:

External ground works maintenance duties:

-
To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota:

-
To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.

Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards:

To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction:

To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out:

To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications

Qualifications
- **If plumbing bias Fabric Engineer as follows:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbing**
    NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in HVAC, mechanical engineering or equivalent with plumbing qualifications

- **If carpentry bias Fabric Engineer as follows:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification.**:

Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred.

Full UK Driving License

Experience

Significant experience in providing plumbing installation, maintenance & repairs to, vented & unvented systems, L8 Regs to WRAS working practices, HWT/Calorifiers & CWT systems ,Sanitary Systems, Guttering & Drainage,:

Showers /TMV/ Taps / Valves & all related paperwork associated & an all-round basic Carpentry and Fabric related skillset:

-
Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
:

-
Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
:

-
Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements.
