Description

You will be working on systems such as: the Welsh Immunisation System (WIS), supporting the COVID-19 vaccination programme; the Children and Young Persons Integrated System (CYPrIS), the National Child Health System for Wales; and New-born Bloodspot and Hearing Screening.


Working in a challenging environment, you will face a variety of competing priorities that will require a flexible and imaginative approach combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.


You will lead a team of junior and senior Test Analysts on all aspects of Testing, whilst working alongside Business Analysts and Software Developers as part of the wider Application Team.


Responsible for all aspects of provision of the Testing services for which the post holder is the Test Principal (management, support and development).

To implement testing strategies in accordance with DHCW Test Framework and Assurance Processes. To implement test plans based upon this strategy within DHCW.


To provide advice on testing of complex programmes, including presenting to senior management and wider teams, ensuring guidance DHCW's policy and strategy in areas of quality assurance and system testing.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
