Internship positions provide an opportunity for science students to get hands on experience in a sales environment.


A Day in the Life:


As part of the Inside Sales team, you will be in daily contact with numerous customers from Research organizations, Start-Up companies or public institutions.

Your engagement and level of commitment will ensure that our clients will get the right selection of products that will fit their current and future needs.

Your guidance will help navigate them through our organization and processes and receive the best support which will ensure they are on their way to reaching their goals.

Being part of the inside sales team will be introduced to many diverse parts of the function. You will have a wide portfolio of tasks to complete.

Plus test your natural curiosity in providing technical advice to customers proactively, educating customers on our products and services and creating potential business leads to rolling out sales action plans to project and measure your business progress.


Keys to Success:


Education

  • Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor's degree science or life science field

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Students required to complete an internship
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing or Sales
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a crossfunctional team
  • Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Previous industrial experience is helpful
  • Aptitude for working with hands and having experience using handtools may be beneficial
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
