Monday - Friday.

8am-4.30pm.

Permanent Role.

26k-28kpa Pay Rate dependent on experience.


Position Overview:

The Warehouse Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and compassionate return of service users' belongings.

This role involves coordination with local authorities, charities, and our warehouse team, all while maintaining clear and consistent communication with our service users.

The Warehouse Administrator will also engage in various administrative tasks to support the overall functioning of the warehouse.

Note that this position will be based in our warehouse, working alongside one other team member, requiring self-drive and comfort in a warehouse environment.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with housing partners to coordinate the return of service users' personal belongings and maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the retrieval process.
  • Adhere to a structured process for advising service users about their belongings left at our premises, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Oversee the logístical aspect of item returns within established timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of service users' belongings.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for service users and relevant stakeholders.
  • Promptly respond to inquiries and concerns from service users regarding their belongings, providing necessary information and assistance.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to efficiently manage storage and organization of service users' belongings.
  • In cases where all attempts to contact service users have failed, and in line with industry standards and best practices, arrange for the disposal of uncollected belongings.
  • Contribute to a cohesive and productive working environment by providing support to other team members as needed.
  • Ensure that all databases and management software systems are updated promptly and to an excellent standard.
  • Comply with company policies and carry out any duties that may reasonably be required in line with the main purpose of the role.

Skills & Knowledge:


  • Demonstrated ability in administration, organization, prioritization, numerical skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highpressure environment while remaining compassionate and focused on our service users' needs.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong team ethic with a proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team or independently with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to work on your initiative without close supervision while also contributing positively to a team.
  • Willingness to respond to the varying demands of the role and adapt to achieve agreed outcomes.
