Description
The main duties will include:
- Utilise the current ERP system (Progress+) to schedule orders
- Coordinating with production and procurement teams to maintain dates
- Update system dates to maintain the master schedule
- Measure and analyse the load/capacity of the facility and advise on labour and plant requirements
- Ensuring release of work orders into system
- Participate in Contract Review or new orders to ensure lead times are achievable
- Plan the production through each of the work areas and create a priority list for each area
- Attend/Lead production meetings as necessary
- Generate reports as required
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Planner in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Experience of Progress+ / SAP / Oracle MRP systems
- Experience of data analysis
- Excellent problemsolving capabilities
- Highly committed, energetic and motivated towards our drive for continual improvement, participating in projects, process improvements
- Able to work diligently and accurately with great attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Hands on as required
Salary:
£34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Planning: 4 years (preferred)
