Lecturer in the Built Environment and Surveying at our
Chichester campus.

You will join us on a
full time, permanent basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary of
£22,156 - £38,894 per annum(This post is eligible for a £5,000 retention bonus on successfully completing probationary period).

The Lecturer in the Built Environment and Surveying role:
As our
Lecturer in the Built Environment and Surveying,you will be expected to prepare lessons, teach and assess across all levels of the Built Environment and Surveying courses (T-Levels and HNC/HND) this will include but is not limitedto:

Construction Technology
Construction Practice and Management
Mathematics for Construction
Principles of Heating Services Design and Installation
Science and Materials
Principles of Ventilation & Air Conditioning Design and Installation
Principles of Electrical Design and Installation
Project Management

Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer in the Built Environment and Surveying:

Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed
Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner
Undertaking administration and providing reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters
Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each
Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding
Keeping uptodate with current practices, issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational and built environment sector
Participating in marketing activities and promoting the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment
Undertaking assessments off site and on campus

Our ideal Lecturer in the Built Environment and Surveying should have the below skills and experience:

A working knowledge of surveying and the built environment sector
The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing
